Questions for The Vic-and-Roll Mailbag
San Antonio is starting to look like a competent professional basketball team.
The San Antonio Spurs notched their first winning streak in over two months, playing their best basketball of the season on both ends. Shifting Victor Wembanyama to full-time center duties set everything in motion, but promoting Tre Jones into the starting lineup has been a much-welcomed catalyst for the improvements in the efficiency and pace of their offense, especially when it comes to feeding their franchise centerpiece.
Despite injuries leaving Gregg Popovich with a shorthanded rotation, he has squeezed every ounce of talent out of the youngest roster in the league. Unproven prospects like Dominick Barlow and Blake Wesley have earned consistent burn off the bench, adding a newfound competitive edge. Nevertheless, the Silver and Black still have a myriad of issues left on their plate, so send us your pressing questions for our weekly mailbag.

Hey Noah! Couple questions:
1. Marc Stein confirmed that Doug McDermott and Cedi Osman will be available for trade discussions. What type of asset(s) do you foresee the Spurs obtaining in exchange for these two quality bench players?
2. The Spurs were granted the Disabled Player Exception for Charles Bassey. Could they potentially used those funds to sign a G-League player to a roster spot? Where might they go shopping?
As much as I respect your opinion, how are you still bought in on Devin Vassell and not Keldon Johnson? The efficiency numbers favor Vassell, but it feels like he is way less consistent than Keldon. I know I got sort of long winded here, sorry.
