Questions for The Vic-and-Roll Mailbag
The Silver and Black are overcoming obstacles and trending in the right direction.
Resilience has defined the San Antonio Spurs, who have persevered through countless setbacks in the early goings of the season. From ill-timed injuries to Tre Jones, Jeremy Sochan, and Malaki Branham to Gregg Popovich being out of commission indefinitely due to an undisclosed medical emergency, this rebuilding ball club has faced an uphill battle to find any semblance of rhythm, chemistry, and consistency.
Despite tempestuous circumstances placing them behind the eight ball, the good guys have managed a much better start than a year ago, notching a 5-6 record with a couple of impressive wins over Western Conference teams with playoff aspirations. With two weeks of the schedule in the rearview mirror, it’s time for y’all to send us your burning questions about Victor Wembanyama and company for our mailbag.

With the Spurs acquiring so much young talent over the last several seasons, that definitely means they'll have to spend so much money in just one year. Will they be able to afford Wembanyama? Also, if the Spurs don't start winning, will Wembanyama stay?
This is probably a tough one to answer, but here it goes. What are the odds Stephon Castle continues to start once Jeremy Sochan returns? Honestly been pretty impressed with how well he has played as a starter. He's making threes at a solid rate over the last couple of games, and the spacing just seems a little better out there with him.
