The San Antonio Spurs have played their best basketball of the season since returning from the All-Star Break, and their newfound competence on both ends of the floor has resulted in several of their games coming down to the wire. Though fans have enjoyed watching their favorite franchise battle it out in crunch time, the youngsters displayed their maturation with a clutch victory over the Brooklyn Nets on Sunday night.
Gregg Popovich and company are still on track to finish with the worst record in team history. But there is no doubt Victor Wembanyama and his baby-faced supporting cast have learned valuable lessons from their growing pains.
