Despite some inconsistency, his EPM of +2.0 ranks him 12th among NBA players under 24, highlighting his significant positive contribution all year. On defense, the numbers also indicate he's been a major asset. I think there is a decent chance he can make an all-star team at some point. With Vassell and Wemby, the Spurs seem to have a great foundation for the future.
Really love Devin Vassell too! I have been really impressed with how he is getting to the rim and finishing at a much better rate this season! The midrange accuracy has fallen off as the season has gone on, but I think that's still a tool he can rely on! If he can rediscover his three-ball, I think you have a legitimate three-level scorer and third option on a contending team! Could be an All-Star once the Spurs start winning again!
