Appreciate the short rundown on Dillingham but would you take him top five? I think that much is unclear to me. Would hesitate to take a smaller guard that doesn’t finish well and is a defensive liability that early. Respect and trust your opinion of him but really want to know the answer to the second part of my question. Thanks Noah.

Sorry about that! Went back and added another paragraph for you! Hopefully that answers your question! Thanks for taking the time to give me feedback! I'm always looking to make my content better!

I am not high on Dillingham. What's the last small and skinny guard who isn't finishing good on a lower level that really got to be a starter in the NBA. Reminds me way to much of Sharife Cooper (whom i liked, but had zero shot of making it in the NBA) with a better jumpshot 🙈

I think that’s the biggest difference. You can keep small guys like Darius Garland, Trae Young, Terry Rozier, Mike Conley, and Chris Paul on the floor because they can stretch the floor, make plays for others, and make up for their rim finishing with touch on floaters. Those guys are/were high level scorers or All-Stars. Given the talent available in this class, I would comfortably take Dilly with that Raptors pick if it conveys. Also would point to smaller guys like Patty Mills, Cam Payne, Dennis Schroder, and Tyus Jones as guys who have enjoyed long careers despite their size. What sets Rob apart from a Bones Hyland is the decision making and shot selection. He is also a legitimate off-ball shooting threat, unlike Cooper, who essentially needs the ball in his hands to thrive. Just my two cents on why I think Rob won’t fail in the NBA. I’ll admit it’s a gamble.

I don't think he has the iso gravity off someone like Trae, isn't as massive or the passing savant as CP or Conley orr as long as Terry. The closest best case seems to be Garland but even he was so much stronger than Dillingham. That's why i take finishing numbers as a landmark here, because strong guys tend to finish well even with their limited size and Dillinghams finishing is getting better but is still very bad.

Wouldn't hate him with the Raptors pick but would prefer Reed easily

Curious why you would prefer Reed! Awesome help defender and elite three-point shooter (maybe the best in this class), but I have questions about him too! Guys blow by him or drive through him fairly often when he's defending on ball, and I wonder whether he has the first step to truly create advantages for himself and others off the bounce! I think he's too good at basketball to fail in the NBA, but I still see Rob as having a higher ceiling as someone who can run an offense full time!

Love his offball and ball movement for a secondary guy. With Wemby acting more and more time as p&r ballhandler the last couple of weeks he would be the perfect screener for him to catch the ball moving to the basket. His teamdefense would be a big plus to this team, thinking Sochan will stay the poa guy in that case. Still like Reed way more defending onball than Dillingham. Dillingham ceiling might be higher but Reeds median outcome is way higher. I would go for ceiling with that first pick drafting Holland/Topic (that's the guy if i am searching a primary) and more roleplayer guy with the Raptors pick (Reed, Rissacher, Buzelis). Would prefer drafting wings most of the time (Williams would be great as well)

This was like a delicious meal! Gourmet caliber!! I am intrigued by the thought of drafting a PG. the SGAs and Haliburtons of the world are making it more difficult for your 6’1” - 6’4” PGs.

I definitely understand that concern! And while I have reservations about someone as small and slender as Rob Dillingham, I'm more willing to take a bet on his upside and potential to fall short of that when this class is so short on prospects with high-end ceilings! Thanks for the feedback Arthur!
